Join the Black Women Raw Vegan Movement
Welcome to a journey of self-discovery and holistic well-being tailored specifically for black women. Our raw vegan lifestyle isn't just about what's on the plate; it's a profound choice that impacts every facet of our lives – physically, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally.
Physical Health: Nourish your body with the essential building blocks it craves. A raw vegan diet, centered around vibrant fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds, provides a rich source of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Recognizing and meeting the unique nutritional needs of black women, this lifestyle promotes optimal health and vitality.
Spiritual Development: Connect with the Earth and its natural cycles by choosing plant-based, raw foods. This dietary choice fosters harmony, grounding you in the interconnectedness of all living things. Elevate your spiritual journey through mindful, intentional eating that aligns with your sense of purpose and fulfillment.
Emotional Well-being: Fuel your emotions with positivity. A raw vegan diet has been associated with lower rates of depression and anxiety. The nutrients from wholesome, raw foods create a positive feedback loop, influencing emotional resilience and overall well-being.
Mental Health: Experience mental clarity and enhanced cognitive function. The brain thrives on nutrients abundant in raw, plant-based foods. Clear thinking and improved focus become integral parts of your journey to holistic well-being.
Consider transitioning beyond a vegetarian and vegan diet to a raw vegan LIVE FOOD LIFESTYLE. This is not merely a dietary shift; it's a holistic transformation that extends to every facet of your life. It's a recognition of the interconnectedness of your health, spirituality, and overall vitality. By embracing live plant-based living, you honor your body as a sacred vessel, nourishing it with the pure essence of life found in raw, vibrant foods.
Choosing to be a raw vegan as a Black woman is a profound act of self-love and care. It's a declaration that transcends the plate, empowering you to live authentically and in alignment with your divine well-being.
Join us in this transformative journey. Your health, spirituality, emotions, and mind will thank you.
Cardiovascular diseases kill more than 50.000 Black women annually
The Problem
Heart Disease:
According to the American Heart Association, heart disease is the leading cause of death for Black women age 65 and older. They have a higher prevalence of heart disease risk factors, including high blood pressure and diabetes.
Stroke:
Black individuals, including women, face an elevated risk of stroke compared to other racial groups, as reported by the American Stroke Association. The likelihood of experiencing a stroke approximately doubles every 10 years after reaching the age of 55.
Diabetes:
As per the American Diabetes Association, Black women exhibit a higher prevalence of diabetes compared to their white counterparts. The risk of developing type 2 diabetes increases with age, especially if you are 45 or older, have a family history of diabetes, or are overweight or obese. In the United States, Black adults are nearly twice as likely as white adults to develop type 2 diabetes.
High Blood Pressure:
Among women aged 20 years and older within the Black community, almost 58% experience high blood pressure, with only approximately 20% successfully managing their blood pressure levels. The American Heart Association notes that Black women exhibit a higher incidence of high blood pressure, contributing to an elevated risk of heart disease and stroke.
Obesity:
The prevalence of obesity was 39.8% among adults aged 20 to 39 years, 44.3% among adults aged 40 to 59 years, and 41.5% among adults aged 60 and older. Approximately 4 out of 5 African American women are classified as overweight or obese.
Genesis 1:29 - And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
A raw vegan diet may improve heart health due to its focus on fruits and vegetables — both of which are consistently linked to lower blood pressures and a reduced risk of heart disease and stroke.
